MooGoo is a brand I have previously talked about on my blog after receiving a sample from a blogger event that I attended. Whilst at the event I was also privileged enough to be one of the first people in the UK to see a new line of mineral makeup, Dusty Girls, the sister company of MooGoo. The lovely people at Dusty Girls sent me a sample of their pink ladies blusher to give a trial run. Here are my thoughts…

I am always a bit dubious of pink cheek colours. Given I\\’m mixed race, they often look too barbie like on me for some reason so I was a bit apprehensive to try this colour. I was however pleasantly surprised as the colour is a soft pink with an iridescent sparkle to it, its subtle enough to give you a natural glow.

The thing that is special about Dusty Girls is the fact that it is natural mineral makeup with no added chemicals or other nastiness. The older I get the more I am becoming aware of what I put on my skin, so the idea of mineral makeup just appeals to me. The blusher wasn\\’t dusty or powdery despite it being a mineral product, which again was a pleasant surprise. It seems to sit on my skin just perfectly. It also doesn\\’t seep into all your smile lines or another imperfections on your skin, seemingly guiding straight over. The blusher itself retails at £15.00, so it definitely in the mid to high end bracket, however I do believe its worth spending more on what you put on your face. I am looking forward to trying some more products from the Dusty Girls range and watching the brand expand as it establishes itself in the UK.
